The Bond Team has dramatically increased the level of representation immediately after arrest. Comprised of dedicated Bond Advocacy Attorneys and Pretrial Release Client Advocates, they advocate for quicker release and incarceration alternatives through representation and advocacy at first appearance and bond hearings.
They help find ways to keep families together, maintain clients’ employment, prevent loss of housing, and identify needs for critical treatment and diversion programming. This advocacy ensures people are not jailed because of their inability to pay bond.
